Our Rules for Using the Inflatable Items.

The hirer uses the fun item at his/her own risk. The owner is not responsible for any injuries or damages sustained by using the fun item. The hirer is responsible for any damages, theft to the item while it is in his/her possession.
No adult or high school leaners are allowed to use the fun items.
The hirer must ensure that a responsible adult supervises the children at all times while they are using the fun item.
The hirer must ensure that his extension cord and earth leakage switch is in a good functioning condition to prevent any electrocution. Only 3 core extension cords are allowed to be used. 2 core extension cords do not have a core for the earth. The earth leakage switch will not switch off during an incident because there is no earth connection between the blower and the earth leakage switch when using a 2-core extension cord.
The fun item is only allowed on the following surfaces, a fully covered lawn area, smooth paving or smooth cement. The items are not allowed on the following surfaces: soil, gravel, ruff cement, ruff paving or hot tar.
We do hire out ground sheets if you want to place the fun item on a tile, wood, smooth cement, smooth paving or smooth tar surface.
Choose area where the surface is level so that the fun item does not slide around while the children jump on the fun item.
Make sure there are no items planted in the lawn or items laying on the lawn that can damage the fun item, before placing the fun item on the lawn.
Make sure all surfaces must be clean and free from objects that can damage the fun item.
The area where the item is going to be used must be big enough to prevent any damages to the fun item. There must be a free space of 2 meters around the fun item. The hirer must ensure that the fun item does not rub against any surface while it is in use. Once the material rubs against any item and it is damaged, the only way to repair it is to replace the complete PVC panel at the hirer expense.
Please do not attempt to move fun items while it’s pond is full of water. The fun item will tear where you pull it. Please let the water out of the pond before moving the fun item.
No person is allowed to play near the blower or tamper with it.
During windy and rainy periods, the children need to exit the fun item and the blower needs to be switch off immediately, remove the blower and extension lead out of the rain. The wind can blow the fun item over and the children can be injured.
We have pegs available to anchor the fun items down at no charge. Please request the pegs when you are making the booking. We don’t guarantee that the pegs will keep the fun item in place during very strong winds.
No jumping from high surfaces to lower surface are allowed, this is to prevent any injuries and damages to the fun item. Only sliding down, climbing up and down are allowed. The items are not designed to take that massive impact when children jump from high surfaces to lower surfaces, it can lead to internal and external damages of the fun item.
No streamers, confetti, glitters or any party décor are allowed on the fun items. These party décor items can stain the fun item when the décor gets wet.
No children with face painting are allowed on the fun item.
No summersaults, flips, climbing onto and throwing one another off the side walls are allowed.
No sharp objects, clothing with sharp edges, shoes, food and drinks are allowed on the items.
No fireworks, cigarettes, open fires and flames are allowed near the fun item.
No pets or any animals are allowed near the fun item. Make sure that pets, that have attendance to chew on items does not have access to the fun items at all times, especially when the fun item is deflated.
The item must be returned on time as indicated by Eddy’s Fun Items. Normally the item must be returned the next morning by 09:00. Failure to do so, will lead to an extra day hire tariff.
The fun item must be packed back in its carrier bag to prevent the item getting damaged during transport. By placing the fun item in its carrier bag also helps to handle the fun item during transport.
The blower’s 220v cord must be wind around the blower’s motor before transporting the blower. This is to prevent the cord and termination box to get damaged.
The blower must be laid on it’s flat side while it is transported. This is to prevent that the cowl and termination box don’t get damaged.
Please make sure your utility vehicle’s loading bay is clean and free from grease, oil, cement and sand, when picking the fun item up and returning it.
No sub letting of the fun item is allowed while it is in the hirer’s possession.
